Duties & Responsibilities – Site HSE Manager
Develop, implement, and monitor the project HSE Plan, policies, procedures, and programs.
Ensure full compliance with Kuwait HSE regulations, client requirements, and international safety standards.
Lead and supervise the site HSE team and ensure effective safety coverage across all project activities.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Monitor compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Ensure proper implementation and monitoring of Emergency Response and Crisis Management Plans.
Coordinate with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, and Subcontractors to maintain high HSE standards.
Ensure workers and subcontractors receive appropriate HSE induction, training, and awareness programs.
Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce site safety requirements.
Maintain accurate HSE records, statistics, inspection reports, and monthly HSE performance reports.
Monitor environmental requirements, including waste management, pollution prevention, and environmental controls.
Participate in project meetings and provide professional HSE advice to management and site teams.
Promote a strong Safety Culture and “Zero Harm” mindset throughout the project.
Take immediate action to stop unsafe work when there is a serious risk to personnel, property, or the environment.
